ok listen, people. facebook isnt a place where you can post personal things about your life and “whoa is me” bullshit. it SCREAMS “I NEED ATTENTION!” and its quite sad. no one wants to hear how youre having “the worst day of her entire life :’-( ” or “its official…. ive been heartbroken…. AGAIN”. all i want to know is what you think about top model and maybe some other irrelevant information about your day. maybe a bum spit in your mouth? that would be cool. but honestly… i dont need to know that your dog died.

I dont understand HOW it happened… but suddenly i have like a million views of my blog.  very very weird.  so.. i guess that means the public wants to hear all about my life and what i am obsessed with.  Kudos to you america.  For finally catching on to the awesomeness that is Pete Malachowsky.  Get ready.  Get ready for some shit.

Computer Stuff: New iPhone app…

PumpOne is coming out with a new app in a couple of days that is gonna be SIIIIIIICK.  I’ve been testing it out… doing some quality control, user testing… and i LOVE it.  Its going to be the only fitness app you’ll need.  Right now you have to buy each workout separately… but with this new app you wont have to worry about ever buying another one.  I dont want to say exactly what it does… but its VERY customizable.  And is definitely better than the other apps that are out there.  For now, you can download the other iPump apps by clicking here (it will open your itunes)… there is even a free one so you can see how it works.  and lots of them are on sale for 99¢… so grab them while theyre on sale!!!

Obsessed: The Fear….

Ive been waiting and waiting for lily allen’s new album.  Her last album and all the miscellaneous cover songs that she’s recorded… i just love her.  Not only because her writing is fucking great and her sound is unique… but cause she is the fucking cutest thing ive ever seen in my entire life, maybe.  I saw her in concert a long time ago at webster hall.  it was great.  her voice isnt the greatest vocally… but its good… and sweet. and sounds just like her recorded songs do.  

But now on to this song.  The Fear.  Im fucking obsessed with it.  I heard a preview of other songs from her album, It’s not me, It’s you… and it all sounds really good.  February 9th wont get here quick enough.  In the meantime, check out the video below.

Theater Movie: The Dark Knight…

I finally saw the Dark Knight.  I waited until i could see it in imax.  And even seeing it the other night, it was STILL a packed house.  People are fucking nutso for that movie.  So i was kind of expecting a lot from it.  And i will start off by saying that this is not a bad review.  I think it was actually a good movie.  I liked the first one.  The way its more like real life just makes it more interesting.  Just to see this take on it.  Ive watched batman growing up as so many different versions.  I used to watch the old school show with Adam West and Burt Ward.  I loved that shit.  And of course the movies in the 90s.  And also the cartoon when i was younger too.  So to see it as a “real” story is interesting to me.  But this movie was NOT everything people made it out to be.  I kept hearing people say things like “its the best movie ive ever seen in my life” to “i would see this again”.  I disagree with both of those statements.  It was a good movie (not AMAZING) and i would NOT see it again.  If i had to choose to see either pineapple express or the dark knight….without a doubt in my mind.  I would see pineapple express again.  That movie was the fucking shit.  But i digress.

As for the cast….Heath Ledger was actually very very good as the joker.  The whole time, all i kept thinking was “wow….even KNOWING thats heath ledger, i still cant see it”.  He did a GREAT job of acting like a psycho.  The subtle things he did.  Like constantly licking his lips.  He looked like a fucking insane person.  And his voice.  His laugh.  SO good.  But everyone else…not so good.  Im most dissapointed with Maggie Gyllenhaal.  I usually like her.  But she was SO bad.  I dont think it was her fault.  Its just that she shouldnt be in movies like that.  At all.  Ever again.  Do you hear me Maggie?  DONT. DO. IT. EVER. AGAIN.  And then there is Christian Bale.  I hate that fucker more than any of them.  His “batman voice” got real fucking old real fast.  I hate it.  And i hate his pointy vampire fang teeth.  You know how when you look at someone you just KNOW theyre a dick.  Thats Christian Bale for me.  I can just tell that he is the biggest douche on the planet.  

And they never even show two face in the commercials.  Because when you see it,   you will be disgusted/amazed by it.  It was SO real looking.  I thought that was one of the best parts of the movie.  the imax was kinda stupid.  I didnt mind seeing it there because there were a couple scenes shot in imax, so they were pretty cool looking.  But not worth the 32 bucks it was for 2 tickets.  THATS how this movie is making so much fucking money.  The prices of tickets.

WTF: 5 lbs in less than a week???

How is it possible to gain 5 lbs in less than a week?  I have the answer for you.  According to one site, these are all factors in retaining water:

Regularly eating too much salt and/or sugar

Drinking excess amounts of alcohol

Not eating enough fresh fruit and vegetables

High levels of wastes or toxins in your body

Taking certain commonly-prescribed medications

Long-term use of very low-calorie diets, which tend to be deficient in protein and other nutrients

Food intolerances (similar to allergies)

Lack of exercise

The ones in bold are what I, of course, did this past weekend.  So it just goes to show….you can gain a shit load of weight by drinking.  I havent drank like that in MONTHS.  and i remember why now.  cause ive been so good about losing weight.  And have currently gone down 8 lbs.  Lots of work.  And in a matter of 5 days, was able to gain 5 of it back.  Granted, it will be easier to lose than originally.  But still.  Its just the point.  Drinking does NOT do my body good.   

Internet Stuff: Twitter…

I just discovered twitter.  Well, i guess i didnt discover it as much as two of my friends TOLD me about it.  But I did just put it on my iphone.  Im using the twinkle app.  I like it.  It has this “local” section.  Where you can put in the distance from you (1 mile, 2 miles, 5 miles, 25 miles, etc) and you can see everything people near you are saying.  So i set mine to astoria.  Its kinda cool to see what other people near you are doing.  And to see someone say something like “going to the cup”…which is like right down my street.  Its also a little creepy!  Cause someone could see i was going to the cup, and then come find me down there…based on my picture.  So its VERY easy to stalk someone using it.  But i dont suggest using it for that.  BUT…if you want to see what im doing in a day.  Check out http://twitter.com/petemalachowsky!
