I posted about going to aruba FOREVER ago. And its the number 1 thing that brings people to this blog. And I realized that I never did a follow up and people are asking questions all the time. So let me tell you a little more about Aruba and what an AMAZING place it is. This is part 1 of a multi-part post…
Riu Palace:

We stayed at the Riu Palace in Aruba. We’ve also been to a Riu in Jamaica as well. But I think this one was much better. I love the all inclusive resorts because you basically dont have to worry about paying for any more food or drinking. You can spend your money on shopping, and in the casino (which is actually in the hotel). Its not a large casino. But they absolutely have poker and blackjack tables, slots, roulette, free drinks, and smoking. Everything you could want from a casino.
Flying Fishbone Restaurant:
Without a doubt one of the best meals I’ve ever had in my LIFE. I’ll never forget it. Braised Beef Tips with mashed potatoes and truffles. I can’t recommend this place enough. We rented a car one day and drove around the whole island. Then finished the day off here. We had a table on the top deck and right in the corner. So no one else was in front of our AMAZING view! There were also tables and chairs down on the beach (and some even in the ocean)! I would go back to Aruba almost for this restaurant alone. Check out their website!
Rent a Car and Explore:
Another thing I would recommend is renting a car and going to the different beaches all along the hotel strip. There are at least 4 different beaches. Each one a little different than the next. There is the beach that is basically rocky cliffs and deep and rough blue ocean (as seen in the picture). And then there is one that has calm water and had very few people at. And another one had ships that were blown up and left for years just sticking up out of the water. But be careful about the other side of the island. We got VERY lost in the desert area and were later told by someone we know who used to live there, that it was EXTREMELY dangerous back there. Not only because we could have gotten very lost and ran out of gas without anyone remotely near us… he said its also where the locals know that they go to “dump the bodies”. So needless to say… just explore on the hotel side of the island.

ok listen, people. facebook isnt a place where you can post personal things about your life and “whoa is me” bullshit. it SCREAMS “I NEED ATTENTION!” and its quite sad. no one wants to hear how youre having “the worst day of her entire life :’-( ” or “its official…. ive been heartbroken…. AGAIN”. all i want to know is what you think about top model and maybe some other irrelevant information about your day. maybe a bum spit in your mouth? that would be cool. but honestly… i dont need to know that your dog died.
PumpOne is coming out with a new app in a couple of days that is gonna be SIIIIIIICK. I’ve been testing it out… doing some quality control, user testing… and i LOVE it. Its going to be the only fitness app you’ll need. Right now you have to buy each workout separately… but with this new app you wont have to worry about ever buying another one. I dont want to say exactly what it does… but its VERY customizable. And is definitely better than the other apps that are out there. For now, you can download the other iPump apps by
Ive been waiting and waiting for lily allen’s new album. Her last album and all the miscellaneous cover songs that she’s recorded… i just love her. Not only because her writing is fucking great and her sound is unique… but cause she is the fucking cutest thing ive ever seen in my entire life, maybe. I saw her in concert a long time ago at webster hall. it was great. her voice isnt the greatest vocally… but its good… and sweet. and sounds just like her recorded songs do.
I finally saw the Dark Knight. I waited until i could see it in imax. And even seeing it the other night, it was STILL a packed house. People are fucking nutso for that movie. So i was kind of expecting a lot from it. And i will start off by saying that this is not a bad review. I think it was actually a good movie. I liked the first one. The way its more like real life just makes it more interesting. Just to see this take on it. Ive watched batman growing up as so many different versions. I used to watch the old school show with Adam West and Burt Ward. I loved that shit. And of course the movies in the 90s. And also the cartoon when i was younger too. So to see it as a “real” story is interesting to me. But this movie was NOT everything people made it out to be. I kept hearing people say things like “its the best movie ive ever seen in my life” to “i would see this again”. I disagree with both of those statements. It was a good movie (not AMAZING) and i would NOT see it again. If i had to choose to see either pineapple express or the dark knight….without a doubt in my mind. I would see pineapple express again. That movie was the fucking shit. But i digress.
